Reforesting Khao Yai, One Hectare at a Time

Inside a 1,500 hectare native-species reforestation project.

In the buffer zone beside Khao Yai National Park, local communities are planting native trees on land once cleared for farming. The project is expected to sequester around 12,000 tonnes of CO2 a year while restoring wildlife corridors. We visited the nursery to meet the people making it happen.
